Find Your DREAM JOB In Horror

A wise man once said “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”. The problem with that advice is that if you’re seeking a career in any aspect of the horror industry you have limited choices. You can either go it on your own and hope it pans out before you starve to death or you can luck out and be in the right place at the right time. DREAM JOB may be the first online job seeking service that will give you a third, viable option.

DREAM JOB is a site like many other online services. They offer you the opportunity to sign up, upload a resume, and search through the various offerings that are available. But what makes this site different is a separate section dedicated to jobs in horror! Why hasn’t this been done before?

Currently at DREAM JOB, you can apply to play a barber in a horror themed barber shop (another awesome concept!), an acting job in Tokyo Japan, and a one day horror movie shoot looking for female actresses. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t live in Australia and can’t travel to Japan though. They’ll be adding new gigs all the time so you should check out DREAM JOB often to get a head start on the competition.

But the one thing I really love about this is it could hopefully catch on to other job sites and make working in the horror industry something that isn’t just for those who already have contacts or an impressive acting resume. I mean, let’s face it, no matter WHAT you do for a living or what skills you have, they can apply to horror and be just as useful there as anywhere else.

And be sure to remember when that happens that you heard it here first, thanks to DREAM JOB. Now get out there and find your own DREAM JOB doing the spooky things you love.

Let me know what you think of DREAM JOB in the comments below. And don’t forget to visit MY OFFICIAL AMAZON WORLD OF TERROR PAGE for all your horror movie needs.

Keep it bloody.

    • I like the idea of this. The next logical step would be a site JUST for horror jobs. THAT will be awesome if it happens. 🙂
